The Bugs Bunny Crazy Castle

From Loonipedia

Crazy Castle 1

While presented in a side-scroller format, Crazy Castle differed from standard side-scrollers such as Super Mario Bros. in that Bugs Bunny did not have a jump function; therefore, only by taking different routes could Bugs avoid enemies. Some of the levels had boxing gloves, invincibility potions, safes, crates, flower pots, or ten-pound weights that could be used against the enemies in the game. As a result, the game had a "puzzle-solving" atmosphere.

Because most NES game cartridges lacked the ability to save, passwords can be used to start at a certain level in this game. It was also for SNES, Game Boy, PC, Game Boy Color, Nintendo 64, GameCube and Game Boy Advance.

Crazy Castle 2

Bugs Bunny must save his girlfriend Honey Bunny from Witch Hazel's enemy-filled castle. There are 28 levels with keys to collect. In each level is a locked door leading to the next level; to open it, the player must collect eight keys placed throughout the level. Various Looney Tunes characters are encountered, including Yosemite Sam, Daffy Duck, Wile E. Coyote, Sylvester, Foghorn Leghorn, Tasmanian Devil, Beaky Buzzard, Spike, Merlin the Magic Mouse, and Tweety.

A password function is included. Entering Gift gets you to the final level.

Crazy Castle 3

Japanese and English Versions

Like the previous Crazy Castle games, the English version is actually a remake of another Japanese game, Soreike!! Kid, which was released 07/12/97 by Kemco. The only difference besides the change of characters is the addition of color.
