David Hudson DePatie (born on May 26th, 1935) is an American producer best known for co-founding DePatie-Freleng Enterprises with longtime Looney Tunes director Friz Freleng.
After creating cartoons for Warner Brothers until its animation-studio was closed in 1963, David and Friz created a cartoon-series about an animated character named "Pink Panther."
To this day, David still remains the head of DePatie-Freleng Enterprises, which, in 1980, was sold to Cadence Industries and has since been rename "Marvel Productions."
